The Department of Education is expanding their arsenal with short barreled tactical shotguns. Beyond the obvious question of what for, is this. WHY DOES THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION NEED AN ARSENAL? Not to be….alarmist….but this sounds extremely Orwellian. Any problems requiring any kind of firepower in this country are far better dealt with by State and Local Police forces, and if required the FBI. Why does a federal branch which leans rather heavily towards the ideologically radical socialist need any weaponry?
We should all demand an explanation
March 11, 2010Technology Website?
October 23, 2009I’m having a website put together for the technology ministries for Summitview and want to know, what do you want to see on it? What would be helpful? Calendars, training, relevant articles?
Windows 7
October 23, 2009Remember those parodies of the get a mac commercials about upgrading a mac by shooting it? Seems the computer industry is not without irony. Any upgrade from XP to Windows 7 requires a complete wipe and reinstall of everything on you hard drive, and many are requiring hardware upgrades. My uncle was running OS 10.4 on a G3 until last year. Hows that for software upgrades??

We do what we’re told?
October 22, 2009So Obama has made a statement saying that Republicans “do what they’re told” and Democrats “think for themselves”…..last time I checked I never chanted any President’s name or got wrapped up in any hopey-changey cult of personality….just saying….

On disappearing trash cans
October 22, 2009My office has been ransacked for the trash can twice in the last month, and I found both of them in the classroom across the hall, putting 3 in that room and none in my office. I am looking for ways to ‘protect’ my trash can so I can maintain a clean, sanitary and un-trashy office….thoughts?
Random Stuff
October 20, 2009Wow, its been a while. Feels kind of like a ghost town, with tumble weeds rolling down the street. On to the content
1. I’ve been thinking of taking some online computer certification classes and want to know what would be worth taking…..comments?
2 Saw the Delirious? show in Fort Collins on Saturday, actually helped out with it. Learned a fair amount about concert lighting in the process. Backlighting is good and apparently very common outside of Sunday morning Church type performances, and can be very effective as well as floor lighting. I think our Easter Service would have benefited from a row of Parcans pointed at the audience. Also, according to the professionals, LED cans aren’t worth using, except the expensive ones, which no one can afford.
It’s the end of the world as we know it…..
September 26, 2009So it appears the Soviets had their answer to our Airborne Command Posts, through the Cold War, they developed a doomsday machine in the 80s, and is still operational. Not to worry though, it requires a human to actually launch the weapons, so no Matrix or Terminator takeover is likely from this system. Basically if it detected enough indicators of a nuclear attack (seismic, radiation etc) and was not turned off by high command, it would unlock all the missiles to be fired by their respective crews. The American system had command centers in aircraft kept airborne at all times, to take control in the event of an attack and make a counterattack.
My Tax Dollars At Work???
September 22, 2009THIS is one of many things our tax dollars go to. Why are my hard earned dollars going to protect these men who the money should be going to toppling. As they used to say, ‘Millions for defense but not one Cent for Tribute!!’
Thank you Mr President

I now have a lot more respect for President Obama, thank you for recognizing our concerns for what they are and not stooping to calling all of us racists just because we disagree.
A sad but true commentary
September 12, 2009Oddly appropriate for Blogs, yet still hilarious

I feel their pain.
